Scholarship Program

Camp New Journey is an official partner with Psalm68Five Ministries.

Together with Psalm68Five Ministries we are offering scholarships or camperships to children without a father present in their lives. This scholarship program is for any child whose father has passed away, is incarcerated, has abandoned the family, or very rarely connects with the family. Also included are children in a single mother home who fit these eligibility requirements.

HOW DO THE SCHOLARSHIPS WORK?

It's pretty simple, A child can get one scholarship per summer season. At Camp New Journey the child also needs to be between the ages of 8 - 15.

To apply for this scholarship, you must first register your child for camp. Once registration is complete, fill out the Psalm68Five scholarship application online. Be sure to provide as much information as you are able when completing the application. A confirmation will be sent to you upon receipt of your application. Subsequently, Camp New Journey will reach out to discuss your family situation, and the Psalm68Five Ministries team will assess and make a determination.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Nothing- the Psalm68Five scholarship covers the camper registration fees 100%. However, to secure your spot, we require a $30 deposit when you register your child for camp. To protect the intent and integrity of this scholarship, we ask that you do not apply for this scholarship if you or your children are not truly eligible.

  • Eligibility

    Applicants must be 8 to 15 years old. Must have already registered for a summer camp session.  Must meet the qualifications listed above.

  • Full & Partial Scholarships Awarded

    A full scholarship, valued at 100% of camp fees, is granted to approved recipients that apply for the program. Depending on funding some recipients may receive no less than 50% of camp fees.

  • Scholarship Valid for all Summer Camp Sessions.

    Only one scholarship is awarded for each approved participant. You may only use the scholarship for one camp session. 

The statistics tell us that many fatherless kids will grow up to become drug addicts, school drop-outs, alcoholics or teen suicide stories.
We believe God has a better plan.
